Elevator Pitch Number 1

Cloudvon Imports is born!
I have found that there is a growing need for new wine! As our economy is rebounding more students are consuming wine instead of cheap beer. Currently the market is saturated with California wines and it is hard to find European wines in the area. After visiting wineries in France I came to the realization that French wines can be sold at competitive prices here in America. Hope you like my pitch!

  1. Hello Brandon!
I love wine! You did a fantastic job on your elevator speech! I would definitely invest. Currently, I drink San Sabastian wine. This is because it’s local, has history behind it, and a great price. I’m conscious on price, because I’m a college student. However, it would be nice to have more imported wines from the countries that have history as well! Thank you for helping me make my speech better next time by observing yours. I had a hard time making it sixty seconds. You should check out my invention. It’s towards a jump in the future. My blog is at: http://entuf.blogspot.com/2016/02/elevator-pitch-no-1.html

  2. Hi Brandon, I think you did a great job with your pitch. Good delivery. I am not wine drinker so I am not sure what French wine has to offer above California wine. Is it French wine a superior quality? My opinion is purely from a non wine drinker's perspective so please forgive my ignorance. I would imagine that selling local wines would be a greater benefit for the U.S economy. Supporting local farmers and providing jobs for Americans. I know wine sells, so if I were to invest I would chose a company that gives more opportunities to U.S citizens.

Here is a link to my not as impressive pitch: http://acwilliams83.blogspot.com/2016/02/elevator-pitch-no-1.html

  3. Good thinking Brandon!

Your business idea seems very clever. I am interesteed to hear how exactly your importng process will work, as far as costs. How much will you have to charge for your wine? I would allow room for an up charge, since it is international wine, and emphasize this point to your customers.

Who are your potential customers? How would you spread the word about your products?

Great presentation as well! Keep up the good work!
